Wellbeing for schools is a contemporary strengths-based approach across NSW public schools, so that every student can connect, succeed and thrive at school and beyond school.
The NSW Department of Education is committed to creating quality learning opportunities for children and young people. This includes strengthening their physical, social, emotional and spiritual development.
The Wellbeing Framework aligns with the CHS Elements of Learning and Achievement to support students at each stage of their development and do this through quality teaching, learning and engagement.
At CHS we will achieve this through planning and decision-making to meet the needs of each student. Our work is underpinned by high standards, clear expectations with a behaviour code familiar to the whole school community, counselling and wellbeing resources.
