School Behaviour Code

Campbell House School supports and lives by the values aligned to the Department of Educations Behaviour Code for Students. This included respect, safety and engagement. 

Campbell House School promotes the following values for our students in line with the DoE Behaviour Code:

  • Take pride in themselves, their work, and the school.  
  • Develop a love of learning. 
  • Develop a deep respect and understanding of the histories, culture, and experience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. 
  • Actively participate as citizens of the school and wider community. 
  • Identify, utilise and call out individuals character strengths. 
  • Develop restorative skills to resolve and strengthen communication and relationships.

All students are expected to:

  • Attend school every day, unless they are exempt as per Department guidelines. 
  • Arrive at school and class on time ready to engage in learning. 
  • Maintain a neat appearance and follow the school uniform policy. 
  • Maintain respectful behaviours including while travelling to and from school and throughout the school day inclusive of classroom, playground and transitions. 
  • Follow classroom expectations and all safety instructions. 
  • Actively engage in learning opportunities. 
  • Comply with all Departmental and school instructions. 

The school follows all Departmental guidelines in relation to behaviours that pose an unacceptable risk to health, safety, learning and/or wellbeing. This includes but is not limited to bullying, non-compliance, illicit substances including vapes, aggressive/violent behaviours and harassment. 

We follow the Department of Educations School Community Charter that outlines the responsibilities of parent, carers, educators and school staff in NSW public schools to ensure our learning environment are collaborative, supportive and cohesive.
