At Campbell House School, we teach the NSW curriculum and offer a broad range of subjects to meet the needs of every student.
We recognise that strong skills in literacy and numeracy are the building blocks for learning and everyday life.
Our teachers use explicit, evidence-based teaching strategies to help students understand new concepts, build confidence, and achieve their goals.

This approach helps students break complex ideas into smaller parts, ensuring understanding and success before moving forward.
Learning at Campbell House School is:
- Real-world focused – hands-on tasks, group work and community connections
- Technology-rich – building digital skills through online tools and learning programs
- Flexible and inclusive – with individualised support for all learning needs
- Wellbeing-oriented – ensuring every student feels safe, supported and ready to learn
Our teachers engage in ongoing professional learning to ensure our practices remain current, evidence-informed and responsive to student needs.
Renaissance Reading
Reading is an essential part of every student’s day at Campbell House.
Each morning begins with a check-in circle followed by independent (or supported) reading time through the Renaissance Reading program.
Students access both online and physical books, with engaging quizzes, goal setting, and personalised recommendations that help them build reading stamina, vocabulary and comprehension skills.
Students complete reading assessments twice per year to track growth and celebrate progress.
