Individual Learning Support
At Campbell House School, we believe every student deserves the right support to be ready for learning each day. Every student has a Recognising Individual Success and Engagement (RISE) Plan, designed to help them grow academically, socially and emotionally.
RISE Plans
RISE Plans are developed together by teachers, students, parents or carers, and other relevant school or external professionals.
They guide each student’s holistic growth by identifying clear goals, steps, supports and responsibilities.
Each plan includes:
-
student background information
-
student literacy and numeracy data
-
goals and strategies for:
- improving or maintaining school attendance
- literacy and numeracy improvement
- learning growth
- increasing engagement and supporting behaviour
- cultural growth, and
- post-school transition planning (Year 10-12 students only).
Formal review meetings are held twice per year, but RISE plans are living documents. Teachers, executive staff or the Learning and Support Team will check-in more regularly to discuss progress and make updates as needed.
If you would like to discuss your child's progress or require a copy of their RISE plan for an external service provider, please contact us to arrange a time with to speak to your child's teacher.

-
Specialist assistance for students learning English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D)
-
Enrichment opportunities for high potential and gifted learners
-
Individual sessions focused on targeted literacy or numeracy skills
-
Regular check-ins to monitor and adjust supports
-
Assessment adjustments, such as:
- Extra time
- Simplified language
- Breaks during tasks
- Alternative task formats (e.g. oral presentations instead of written work)
We identify when extra help may be needed by:
- Observing changes in learning, behaviour or engagement
- Reviewing assessment results and progress data
- Listening to concerns raised by parents or carers
All adjustments are planned in partnership with families and reviewed regularly.
