School logo and artwork

In 2023, Campbell House School proudly unveiled a redesigned school logo that reflects the spirit, heritage and values of our inclusive school community.

The new design represents our commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment, where every student is encouraged to learn, grow and thrive.

It symbolises both our connection to the natural surroundings that enrich our school and our unwavering dedication to education and holistic development. This thoughtful design blends tradition and forward-thinking, inspiring students and staff to look toward a bright future filled with opportunity, resilience and purpose.

Every element carries meaning, reflecting our shared vision of growth, learning and community — a logo that is not just a symbol, but a promise to every student and family.

The Symbolic Elements

Each element within the logo has been carefully chosen for its cultural and educational meaning.

A Shared Story of Growth

The Campbell House School logo is more than an image — it’s a story of growth, connection and learning.

It represents our shared journey as a community and our ongoing commitment to ensuring every student is seen, supported and celebrated.

Our Aboriginal artwork

In 2025, students from Campbell House School collaborated with the artists from Bindi Bindi Art to create an artwork that represents our students’ connection to Country, culture, and their learning journey.

What began as a project to design a new school sports polo shirt grew into something much deeper.

Through yarning, reflection, and shared creativity, our students expressed powerful ideas about identity, community, and growth.

The resulting artwork has become an important part of the fabric of our school — a visual story that celebrates who we are, where we learn, and the journeys we take together.

From the Artists - Bindi Bindi Art

This artwork tells the story of Campbell House School as a place of learning, growth, and belonging on Dharawal Country. Students travel from many areas and Nations, each bringing their own experiences, strengths, and dreams. Flowing travel lines symbolise these journeys, weaving together to form a central meeting place — the school — where pathways of learning connect and grow stronger side by side.

At the heart of the design are three large circles, representing Campbell House as a safe and strong community, where students, families, and staff come together in support of every student. Here, students are embraced for who they are and guided with care towards their individual goals. Surrounding these are smaller circles that reflect yarning and restorative practices — places where voices are heard, challenges are worked through, and learning deepens through respect and understanding.

The lyrebird, totem of this land, walks proudly along these pathways. Known for adapting and learning by echoing many voices, the lyrebird mirrors the way students at Campbell House are encouraged to explore, adapt, and discover their own strong voice. Community is represented throughout the artwork, showing teachers, families, and Elders standing beside the children. This reflects the belief that students are never alone on their journey, but are guided, supported, and uplifted by those who walk hand in hand with them.

The pathways themselves bend and flow, showing that learning is never a straight road but one of growth, resilience, and discovery. Woven together, these journeys reflect the strength of community — that when many hands and hearts come together to support students, learning becomes richer, more meaningful, and deeply connected to both culture and Country.

This story honours the ancestors who have cared for Dharawal Country for countless generations and celebrates the students who carry knowledge, culture, and strength forward into the future.
