Parent Communication and Parent Portal
At Campbell House School, we value open communication with families and carers.
We understand that clear, reliable contact between home and school helps every student feel supported and safe.
Below is a summary of how families can currently manage communication, payments and documentation, along with information about our upcoming Parent Portal System.
Current School Systems
Families can continue to communicate and manage school matters through the front office:
- Payments: Payments can be made in person to the front office during school hours.
- Notes and Certificates: Students (or parents/carers) may bring permission notes, medical certificates and other documents directly to the office.
- Absences: Absences can be reported by calling the school or by replying directly to the SMS message sent to parents and carers each morning.
- Medications: For safety reasons, only parents or carers are permitted to bring medications to the school. Students must not transport or carry medications themselves. Students who carry their own Asthma inhaler must have a Health Care Plan and Asthma Management Plan that specificially lists this.
Unsure?
If you’re unsure about any of these processes, please contact the front office — our team is always happy to help.
Introducing the Parent Portal
We are currently preparing to introduce Parent Portal Systems to make it easier for families to access information about their child’s learning, wellbeing and progress.
This secure online platform will allow families to:
- View attendance, timetables and reports
- Receive messages and updates from teachers
- Access upcoming events, notes and permissions
- Update contact information
- Monitor learning goals and progress over time
Implementation and Support
The Parent Portal is currently in the planning and implementation phase.
Once the system is ready, families will receive clear instructions on how to register, log in, and use its features.
We’ll also offer support sessions and guidance from our staff to ensure everyone feels confident using the new system.
Staying Connected
Until the Parent Portal is launched, families can continue to contact the school directly by phone, email or in person for any updates or questions.
We look forward to introducing this new way to stay connected and further strengthen the partnership between home and school.
