Hilltop Family Group
At Campbell House School, we believe that strong partnerships between school and family are essential to every student’s success. When families, carers and educators work together, students feel more supported, confident and connected.
Our Hilltop Hub Family Group helps build these partnerships by bringing our school community together each week in a warm and supportive space.
About the Family Group
The Hilltop Hub Family Group is a weekly support group for the families, parents and carers of students attending Campbell House, Glenfield Park and Ajuga Schools.
Held each Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the group meets at the Hilltop Community Cottage, located on the grounds of Glenfield Park School.
Families are invited to join us for light morning tea, friendly conversation and community connection, while taking part in a range of educational, wellbeing and engagement activities. Transport is available to and from Glenfield train station for parents or carers on family group days.
What to Expect
Each session is hosted by our welcoming Community Liaison Officers (CLOs) from across the three Hilltop schools.
Sessions often feature guest presenters and professionals who deliver short, practical workshops on topics such as:
- Supporting student wellbeing and learning at home
- Building positive family routines
- Accessing community and health services
- Self-care and wellbeing for parents and carers
The group provides a relaxed, inclusive environment where families can share experiences, learn new strategies and strengthen their connection with the Hilltop school community.
Staying Connected
Each week, the Campbell House Community Liaison Officer contacts families to share updates, extend invitations and maintain strong partnerships.
Information about the current Family Group agenda can be found at the Campbell House School front office or on our official Facebook page.
We warmly welcome all parents and carers to come along, whether you drop in for a single session or become a regular member, you’re an important part of our school community.
What our parents have shared
Parent Group is a wonderful place to connect with other parents and carers. I look forward to Tuesdays because each week offers the chance to learn something new in a warm and welcoming environment. I truly enjoy sharing a cup of tea or coffee while meeting new friends and exploring creative activities like art, craft, and cooking together. If you’re looking to make new connections and discover fun, engaging experiences, come join us on Tuesday mornings from 10 to 12:00pm at Parent Group. — Belinda
